Vanilla heart of the wild spec1/2/2024 It just depends on your playstyle, do you feel like casting a lot and hitting like a truck, or tossing heals/dots on things and shifting forms a lot (priest will land one hell of a lot more killing blows I think, if that’s worth anything… but druid will be capping the flags & and stealth-capping some AB bases (which I think grants extra honor?)). I think feral tank & DPS will be just fine. Ret & feral were suddenly great come BC, and I can’t recall bumping into any feral druids end-game in the 2 years that I played vanilla they didn’t have feral charge for most of vanilla iirc. I hear they’re both viable so if anyone has first hand experience please enlighten me Overall I guess the main thing that would help me decide is their viability in PvP since that’s going to be my main form of entertainment in Classic. On the other hand, Feral Druids seem really fun with their stealth, versatility, flag running capability, and never having to drink, but don’t appeal to me as much conceptually and I’m not the biggest fan of melee classes either (plus I heard back then Ferals had a hard time connecting with their target in particular even compared to other melees due to some attack range issue… is this true?) Thematically Shadow Priests seem like the coolest spec to me but I hate having to drink all the time. Raids are not a priority, and if I never get invited to one I’ll be perfectly fine with that as I likely won’t have much time to raid anyway. Can someone with experience playing either of these specs in Vanilla help me out here please? My main goal will be to acquire the dungeon set, after which I will be mainly doing bgs for the PvP set.
